In the position of Communications Specialist in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office, you will work with our Corporate Supply Chain team to develop and deliver distributor communications as well as support our sales communications team managers and Integrated Supply Chain teams.
This position reports to the Director of Sales Communications and works closely with a variety of internal and external partners, including our sales teams, Corporate Supply Chain, Quality, Accounts Receivable, IT, Distributor Network Development, and BP&S teams.
Develop and deliver distributor communications related to product supply, including supply/ordering system updates, distributor alerts, order reminders, splash screens, downtime and production updates, product authorizations, and other related communications
Work with the transportation team to develop and deliver communications pertaining to fleet news, freeze protects, etc. on an as-needed basis
Partner with the broader sales communications team in development of distributor-facing communications that drive our commercial priorities, including distributor bulletins, newsletters, proofing and editing, and contributing to other communications platforms
Work collaboratively across the broader communications team
The Other Qualifications:
You have a relative 4-year degree
You have a strong background in customer service and/or familiarity with supply chain operations; minimum of 2 years of communications experience preferred
You are skilled in tools including MS Excel/MS Access/BOBJ to deliver detailed supply communications to distributors
You possess strong time management skills and have the ability to work well under deadlines and manage multiple projects
You have excellent conceptual and writing skills, anticipate and solve problems, and are a results-driven individual
