GENERAL SUMMARY: This position supports the Internal Communications Department by serving as the primary point of contact with site leaders and their staff. Individuals in this role are responsible for developing and implementing site/department specific internal communications to employees, physician, and leaders that aligns with the strategic goals of Beaumont Health, its sites, programs and initiatives.
Develop communications plans, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of internal communications efforts.
Lead communications support for internal clients to develop content for print and electronic materials.
Develop and execute internal communications projects and events as assigned, including planning, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines, writing messages, producing promotional materials and ensuring project goals and objectives are met.
Write site executive/leader communications, internal blog and web posts. Work with site leadership on internal communications initiatives.
Work with other members of the team to create content for internal communications vehicles.
Suggest newsworthy content for use in marketing and in traditional and social media.
Identify and write stories for Beaumont publications and social media for assigned sites. Write site-specific content for the Huddle.
Foster employee engagement by leading or participating in site Employee Advisory Group and/or other committees.
Develop project plans and serve as a liaison between Marketing and leadership teams for site community events.
Provide design support for site projects and systemwide initiatives on an as needed basis.
Assist with onsite photography or video as needed.
Serve as lead for on-site emergency management.
Develop and maintain technology skills to perform job requirements.
Must exhibit excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
Must demonstrate high level of content accuracy

Must be proficient in MS Office programs
