Employee Communications Specialist

As an Employee Communications Specialist you will build and deliver internal communications campaigns that help employees stay connected, informed, and engaged.

You'll:

  • Assist the global HR and Legal teams in developing and executing multi-channel corporate communications campaigns utilizing a combination of digital, email, print and video assets.

  • Write employee communications that clearly and concisely deliver key messages and align to

corporate brand.

  • Partner with HR and Legal leadership teams to plan, develop presentation materials for, and

execute meaningful and engaging Town Hall meetings.

  • Enhance and execute communications tools to keep global HR and Legal communities

informed on team updates and strategies.

What You'll Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.

  • Have 1-3 years experience communicating to a business audience.

  • Excellent command of written English (spelling, grammar, and punctuation)

  • Experience using Microsoft tools to communicate to large audiences (Outlook, Powerpoint,

Sharepoint, etc.)

  • Ability to think creatively to design engaging and meaningful content.

  • Are highly organized and detailed-oriented, but can adapt quickly to a fast-past environment.

  • Understand the value of teamwork, collaboration and influence.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro or Sketch.

  • Knowledge of email tracking systems, i.e. PoliteMail, Mail Chimp, etc.

As the Communication Specialist, you will be the professional who writes content to spread the Information Protection & Security gospel across the enterprise. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist with communication projects designed to support Information Protection & Security initiatives and projects from conception to implementation. * Write emails, flyers, and other content – both technical and non-technical – to educate workforce members across the enterprise through all available communication channels. * Develop, document, and implement communication plans. * Serve as a proofreader for entire department on all types of documentation. * Plan and coordinate special events desired to promote Information Protection & Security. * Write, edit, and oversee content on the departmental intranet site. * Use current skills or develop skills to assist with video and training creation. * Maintain knowledge of relevant concepts, tools, and industry trends by participating in appropriate educational opportunities. * Performs other duties as assigned * Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement."
