Overview Starting pay for this position is $15.30/hour. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Communication Specialist will provide telephone assistance to team members, patients, physicians and the general public in a timely and professional manner. They will be the keeper of the physician call schedules, out of hospital personnel lists, administrative call lists, and all miscellaneous lists used to contact people or services needed by Hospital personnel. This position will also respond to all emergent calls quickly and efficiently, following outlined protocol to page.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED Experience: 1 year of customer service experience. Other skills/knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 1 year clerical work experience. Komatsu supports a myriad of markets, including housing, infrastructure, water, pipeline, minerals, automobile, aerospace, electronics and medical, through its many brands and subsidiaries, including TimberPro, Joy, P&amp;H, Montabert, Modular Mining Systems, Hensley Industries, NTC, and Gigaphoton.</p><p>Job Overview</p><p>The Senior Product Marketing Specialist at Komatsu Mining supports, creates and deploys strategic product programs and activities that meet the global mining customer's current and emerging equipment needs in the large, off-highway surface mining dump truck market. This Role aids product solutions throughout the entire lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, requiring a cross-functional working relationship with all aspects of the organization. Develops working relationships with customers and incorporates feedback into design and deployment. This is paramount to the success of the EDT product. Anticipated travel to customer sites and supporting activities is approximately 30%.</p><p>Key Job Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Creates and updates comprehensive industry, competitor, and customer models including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections, financials, pricing and trends, and market forces. Provides market and competitive insights through presentations and reports to the Executive Leadership Team and various internal management teams to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making and implementation.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate technology and market trends requiring new products, features, or product improvements. Aid quantitative analyses of product options, prepare development proposal materials and guide development through the Komatsu process. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of data sources, evaluating their credibility and potential utility, and leverages them across the company where appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Collect voice of customers regarding product/service/support by directly visiting customer job sites and working with regional sales staff/distribution. Responsible for coordinating surveys, creating questionnaires, and hosting customer interviews to acquire this data.</p></li><li><p>Working with distributors and directly with customers, identify the obstacles and needs of our customers, including large international mining conglomerate customers, to identify potential solutions that can be addressed via product or system design that will allow those customers to be safer, more productive, and more cost-efficient.</p></li><li><p>Lead machine &amp; off-machine technology field-follow performance validation efforts relating to new product introduction/improvement. This includes defining scope, establishing schedules, traveling to the field, collecting data, and presenting analyzed results.</p></li><li><p>Develop programs to achieve sales, parts, and product support plans to designated accounts and actively assist Distribution in generating sales from identified accounts. Coordinates group activities to close sales, provide appropriate after-sales support, and maintain communication with customers regarding equipment and parts delivery expectations.</p></li><li><p>Enforces company policies to sustain maximum operating efficiency, including safety, environmental, and quality policies.</p></li><li><p>Actively improves the processes and policies of the organization using the Komatsu Way principles.</p></li><li><p>Performs other duties and projects as assigned</p></li><li><p>Expect substantial domestic and international travel (upwards of 30%) for collaboration with end-use customers, distribution, key technology partners, and other Komatsu personnel.</p></li></ul><p>Qualifications/Requirements</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Business or Marketing (Discipline Preferred) and 3+ years of related working experience in Technical Marketing or Product Marketing. MBA is preferred, and/or an extensive equivalent knowledge of mining applications, equipment, and technology.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of experience in construction and mining related equipment.</p></li><li><p>Broad knowledge of the mining business on a global basis. In particular, knowledge of applications engineering as it relates to mining, is preferred. Experience with surface mining simulation, fleet optimization, or equipment selection through mathematical simulation is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Firm grasp of surface mining industry practices in connection with market trends, new products, and services.</p></li><li><p>Understanding the complete sales cycle, the required sales skills, product knowledge, and positive attitude to succeed in a sales situation.
