Communications Specialist I (Ithaca, NE) (Open To University Staff Only)

As a Communications Specialist, you will:

• Identify, write, edit, develop, and maintain high-quality and compelling content across a wide range of platforms which may include social media, website, email marketing efforts, online and print publications and video,

• Build public awareness and support for the research, extension, teaching and learning taking place in the Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center (ENREEC).

• Play a key role in the strategic communication of ENREEC's accomplishments and goals, as well as with recruitment and stakeholder engagement.

• Collaborate with ENREEC leadership, faculty, and staff to identify areas and projects of high priority and to gather information for content creation.

• Work closely with IANR Communications to identify and amplify compelling ENREEC stories of broad interest, as well as to share strategic IANR and UNL Communications messaging.
