The Connor Group is searching for an incredibly talented communications specialist to join its award-winning organization at our Central Support Office. The real estate investment firm is a national leader in the apartment industry that operates in 16 markets. Over the last 30 years, the company has found People are their No. 1 key to success.

The communications specialist is a critical part of the communications team, responsible for driving content to our more than 400 associates nationwide. This individual also plays a role in external communications with residents in our apartment communities.

Successful Connor Group associates come from a wide array of backgrounds but share common traits and thrive in our unique company culture. Zero experience in the apartment industry is required. Since 1992, The Connor Group has grown from $0 to $3.5 billion in assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive compelling internal communications via our company app that align with our core values and culture.

  • Analyze monthly financials and property statistics to create internal publications, recognizing associates across our 16 markets.

  • Build and manage app content via WordPress platform.

  • Generate monthly content calendars for internal associate app.

  • Build relationships across The Connor Group's 16 markets.

  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate our core business model.

  • Drive social media content and strategy for SEO benefit.

  • Craft professional resident communications.

  • Proactively manage The Connor Group's online reputation.

  • Shoot, edit video for internal communications and our non-profit, Kids & Community Partners.

  • Create quality images via Photoshop for internal publications.

  • Assist front desk operations.

  • Contribute to executing company events as necessary.
