Position Summary:
Community Care Plan, the health plan with a heart, is a hospital-owned Provider Service Network for members enrolled in Medicaid, Florida Healthy Kids, sponsored programs, and self-insured employee health plans. The Communications Specialist is a professional dedicated to advancing CCP's mission by increasing the engagement of employees and the general public by creating meaningful content and interactions both internally and externally.
This position will support the Director of Communications and Marketing in planning, developing, managing, and ensuring successful implementation of communication and engagement strategies and tactics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and edit internal communications, including announcements, presentations, business cards, memos, and training materials.

Newsletters
Articles
Corporate Collateral
Presentations
Speeches
Training Materials
Provide support for internal departments to create and enhance the layout of manuals, newsletters, notices, etc.
Create and review ServiceNow tickets to update intranet and website updates.
Provide consistent, high-quality professional communications expertise to maintain outstanding customer service and productive relationships with all internal customers and external clients.
Support the development and implementation of best-in-class communication and engagement strategies and tactics to support cross-company knowledge sharing and other key strategic activities.
Consistently meet and exceed assigned goals and objectives, as well as complete assigned projects on time, to high standards and within budget.
Work with managers, employees, and clients to measure the success of CCP communications program and realigning strategy and programs to increase engagement.
Skills and Abilities:
Experience in PowerPoint, Publisher, InDesign, and Canva preferred with the ability to create both print and electronic media representative of Community Care Plan.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills: proven abilities to manage multiple, often complex, and sometimes competing, objectives, goals, and other priorities to effective and efficient conclusion
Outstanding partnering and collaboration skills: has exceptionally strong and highly effective working relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders.
High level of attention to detail

Work Schedule:
As a continued effort to provide a safe and productive work environment, Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. Staff are able to work from home 3 days a week and will report to the office 2 days a week.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
Three to five years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or social media
Experience supporting efforts that build and nurture a strong organizational culture, preferably
Experience developing and distributing innovative communication content
Working understanding and experience with digital and social media
Proven track record for meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
Outstanding communications and presentation skills; with particular emphasis on business writing skills and active listening (proven ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with various cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and senior management)
Professional maturity, confidence and competence. Knows how to summarize and communicate the key points and business case for others to make important business decisions effectively and expeditiously
Considerable comfort, confidence and competence when interacting with senior management and other executive-level leaders
