Job Description: As the Communications Specialist at Cedarhurst Senior Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication and engagement with both internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects, editing and proofreading content, overseeing social media channels, and supporting various communication initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Utilize ClickUp to organize and track project tasks and timelines for the marketing/communications team.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Content Editing and Proofreading:
Review and refine written content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and style standards.
Social Media Management:
Produce content for social channels using pre-designed templates.
Schedule and publish posts on HubSpot, optimizing posting times for maximum engagement.
Engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages.
Ensure that the social media strategy is being implemented effectively.
Social Listening:
Monitor social media channels for relevant conversations, trends, and feedback.
Provide insights and recommendations based on social listening data to improve engagement and customer satisfaction.
Internal Communications:
Assist in gathering content for newsletters and plotting their distribution schedule.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely dissemination of internal communications, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
Review and Reputation Assistance:
Help manage our online reputation by responding to positive reviews promptly and professionally.
Monitor review platforms and escalate any issues or concerns as necessary to maintain a positive brand image.
Community Publications:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
Strong project management skills with experience using project management tools a bonus.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in social media management platforms and analytics tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
