Brief Summary of Role
This person will report into the Director of Shared Services and will touch many aspects of Appirio's overall Marketings programs, This person must be able to work confidently with a wide variety of stakeholders, be detail oriented and be able to drive projects to success in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Writing and editing engaging communication assets, including:
executive communications needs (emails, talking points, presentations)
content for internal channels
Executing internal communication strategy, including:
managing communications schedules and agendas
project managing corporate social responsibility communications
liaising with other internal groups to manage communication need
Writing various types of articles on a wide range of topics.
Providing feedback to other contributors, and editing other writers' content.
Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation.
Contributing to long-form content projects such as ebooks.
Conducting analytical projects to improve blog strategies/tactics.
Growing blog subscribers and expanding the overall blog's reach
Education and Required Experience (Requirements)
Bachelor's degree in writing, communications, journalism, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years of experience coordinating and managing communications programs
Experience balancing multiple priorities and multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
Experience interacting with executives and senior leadership
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information and ideas in a clear way
Must be active on social networks and have an understanding of social media
Experience with Google G Suite, Microsoft 365, Salesforce.com, and other cloud platforms a plus
Strong team player
Superior organizational skills
