Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Communications SME to join our team onsite in Norfolk, Virginia supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work as a NCTE Digital Radio Management System SME in support of Government/ Government Customers

• Design, develop, deploy networked Ultra High Frequency and Very High Frequency (UHF/VHF) communication systems/ system components

• Design, develop, deploy network communication components in support of digitizing UHF/ VHF Radio Frequency (RF) communication systems across the NCTE enterprise

• Review, provide recommendations and identify communications materials necessary to ensure the successful integration of new technology into existing NCTE training ranges

• Provide communications systems sustainment support across the NCTE enterprise

• Analyze communication system degradations and provide timely action to support restoration of services

• Installation of UHF/ VHF radio communication and associated components

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• 4 years of relevant experience

• Experience as Electronic Technician or Information Technician

• Experience with UHF/VHF

• Understanding of the planning, design, operation, testing and maintenance of networked communication systems

• Comp TIA Security +

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree

• CISCO CCNA

• Comp TIA Network +

Security Clearance Requirements:

• This position will require an active DoD Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Position Self to move

• Stationary 50% or more of the time

• Occasionally move around the office
