Why We Need You

The Communications and Outreach Specialist on the People & Brand team will drive internal and external communications content development focused on Diversity and Inclusion and Social Impact; she/ he will also support outreach, project management, and overall Social Impact program delivery. The specialist will develop and implement communications plans to inform stakeholders; elevate these priority areas of impact collaborating with MarCom and other working groups to identify and craft messages for both internal and external audiences. Skill in uncovering and crafting compelling stories, sharing benefits of the program(s), and cultivating relationships are important in this role. The specialist will work to enhance and evaluate the programs presence by partnering on communications, marketing efforts, social media efforts, public relations, developing and maintaining content on multiple communications platforms.

The ability to collaborate responsively and build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, internal and external partners, and customers is very important in this role. The ability to provide creative direction and constructive feedback on projects is essential. The specialist will ensure messaging aligned to brand and core values, as well as strategic objectives. The right person for this role has good project management skills, a commitment to producing timely, accurate, and engaging content and a passion for making a difference both through diversity and through community engagement. Applicants should have demonstrated writing experience and ability to showcase a diverse portfolio of video, photo, design, or social media content.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Writing, editing, and producing for different media, including employee intranet, blog, social media, email campaigns, video, photography, as needed for internal (employee) and external (customer/consumer/industry) communications as it relates to PEMCO's corporate social responsibility strategic efforts

  • Managing the production and publication process for social impact and diversity & inclusion communications via the creation of execution of communication plans

  • Managing and executing social impact programs

  • Executing diversity & inclusion and social impact strategy-driven events

  • Recommending and creating impactful storytelling content for ongoing communications that align with the social impact strategy

  • Representing social impact and diversity & inclusion from a strategic communications standpoint on project teams

  • Engaging with outside partners in support of internal and external social impact and diversity & inclusion communications

  • Two or more (2+) years of experience in communications, marketing, or corporate social impact with increasing levels of responsibility required

  • B.A. in Communications, or equivalent experience in communications required

  • Demonstrated working experience with Microsoft Office suite required

  • Knowledge of digital communications media required

  • Photography, videography skills preferred

  • Desire to be a continuous learner

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

The Patient Contact Center Outreach and Engagement Specialist (OES) provides excellent customer service and patient engagement to low-income and underserved populations in a virtual call center setting. The OES will make outbound outreach calls and occasionally answer inbound calls. The OES will answer patient questions, assist patients in navigating the Neighborcare Health system and insurance, respond to scheduling and messaging needs, and provide consistent, accurate, and efficient services that result in an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities: * The OES will make outbound outreach calls to unengaged patients to connect them to care for the majority of time. * Effectively use data spreadsheets and applications to make outbound calls. * Schedule new and returning appointments in the EHR following scheduling guidelines. * Gather information for accurate documentation of calls and enter into proper database. Verify and update necessary information at the point of scheduling. * Coordinate with Interpreter Services as needed. * Adhere to contact center processes and workflow with an attention to quality improvement. * Recognize when customers are frustrated or may require education or instruction beyond the issue presented. * Meet or exceed contact center performance standards and measure with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness. * Develop and achieve and maintain a minimum call-per-hour productivity standard to reach outreach and engagement targets. * Demonstrate professional demeanor in appearance/behavior in all work-related interactions. * Is a knowledgeable resource to patients via telephone interactions, striving to provide patient engagement, education, and inspiring confidence in Neighborcare services. * Conduct insurance verification, including assisting patients navigate Medicaid processes to ensure patients will receive the care they need from Neighborcare. * Coordinate with internal eligibility department to ensure applications for coverage are initiated prior to appointment. * Resolve patient requests in one call/contact or successfully manages prolonged or complex issues, with high attention to managing the customer experience and emotion. * Identify, research, and resolve patient questions and inquiries regarding the patient portal. * Meet or exceed contact center performance standards and measure with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness. * Achieve and maintain a minimum call-per-hour productivity standard. * Comply with the Neighborcare risk management, compliance, and information security program requirements, including accurate and timely reporting of all adverse incidents. * Observe principles of data security and patient confidentiality. Maintain ethical standards in the performance of duties and in interactions with patients and co-workers. * Participate and complete the required training program. * Attend and participate in staff meetings as directed.
