Communications Manager, Retail Bank
We're looking for an experienced Communications Manager to create multi-channel integrated communications strategies in support of Retail & Direct Bank's strategy, priorities, and culture work. In this role, you'll serve as a consultant to two senior executives on a wide variety of initiatives and issues impacting multiple lines of business. As part of a collaborative team of communicators, designers, event planners, and project managers, you'll ensure our associates feel valued, believe in our culture, are better connected to leadership, and know where we are on our journey to become one, Reimagined Bank. Serve as a strategic communications advisor to two Retail & Direct Bank executives through the creation of thoughtful communications campaigns that support the Bank's strategy, priorities, and culture
Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns, providing ongoing messaging and writing support for communicating key initiatives to associates and other stakeholders, maintain key communications channels such as intranet, newsletters, podcasts, and more
Lead large-scale change management programs for lines of business, helping prepare associates for the change through development and execution of appropriate change and communications plans
Maintain and create an internal content strategy and delivery plan that establishes a regular, coordinated rhythm to reinforce the strategy, priorities, and culture as well as recognize accomplishments and milestones
Develop and execute a measurement strategy to determine the effectiveness of the communications tactics
Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders as well as partners across the Bank including the Campaigns, Creative, Events & Experiences, and Executive Communications teams as well as HR, Chief of Staff teams, and others
Proven ability to successfully lead large initiatives with multiple teams and departments
Flawless, clear, and consistent communication and partner management
Ability to present complex subject matter in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with associates across job families in a thoughtful, inclusive, and encouraging manner
Detail-oriented, highly organized nature with experience managing large complex communications initiatives
Excellent project management, delegation, and prioritization skills
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Willing to learn, be adaptable, and maintain flexibility
Ability to work as part of a team in an open and collaborative environment, and stay calm under pressure to manage rapidly changing priorities
The ability to think creatively and demonstrate integrated problem-solving and structured thinking
Not afraid to make quick decisions, set direction and priorities, and work with a sense of urgency
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 6 years of experience in developing and leading communications initiatives
5+ years of experience in relationship management
5+ years of experience in project management
Demonstrated track record in building multi-channel strategies that drive meaningful impact
Possess exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship building, a deep understanding of content strategy and analytics, and strong executive presence
Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
