Be part of a collaborative team that is driving high impact advertising, brand marketing, and external and internal communications programs for State Street Global Advisors the asset management division of State Street, the third largest asset manager and creator of the world's first ETFs.

In this role, you will play an integral role in developing and executing effective communications for employees. Your work will help promote an understanding of business priorities, drive employee engagement, provide timely communications and enforce the firm's value proposition.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and craft effective internal and client communications related to senior leader, business function and organizational changes.

  • Write, edit, and/or administer internal communications to all employees or select business units.

  • Help drive the communications planning, approach and execution for employee town halls and leadership meetings.

  • Create and manage an internal communications calendar to ensure key messages are communicated to the broad employee audience.

  • Manage the end-to-end process for producing a weekly internal email newsletter distributed to all employees regarding announcements, business updates and accomplishments from all areas of the company.

  • Provide reporting and metrics on overall effectiveness of communications; solicit and analyze employee feedback and then develop creative solutions for improving employee engagement.

  • Set the editorial strategy for and collaborate with IT partners to drive improvements to the company intranet site.

  • Develop new and creative ways to deliver messages through video or other communication channels.

  • Write and edit client letters, articles, Q&As, talking points and presentations.

Required Skills or Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English or Communications with 5 10 years of experience in internal, external or executive communications.

  • Excellent writer with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Highly organized with strong verbal communication skills.

  • Outstanding project management skills; ability to multi-task and track a variety of deliverables under tight deadlines.

  • Consistent track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic and tactical communications plans.

  • Experience managing communications in a highly matrixed, globally diverse organizational structure is a plus.

  • Financial services experience is a plus.

  • Excellent knowledge of all MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Clients' will be able to manage multi-asset class data from any service provider or data vendor for a more holistic and integrated view of their holdings. This platform reflects State Street's years of experience servicing complex instruments for our global client base and our investments in building advanced data management technologies. Reporting to the Head of Risk Excellence under Administration & Business Operations - DataGX in Boston, MA the Risk Manager – Risk Excellence & Information Security will become the DataGX liaison for Risk Excellence supporting the mission of risk excellence in Global Exchange through coordinated and consistent collaboration, communication and management of risk topics. As liaison for the business First Line of Defense, Second Line of Defense (Corporate Compliance and Risk) and Third Line of Defense (internal and external audit), this role will support the business unit risk program through the coordination and execution of processes implemented to ensure the business units' compliance with Security and Process Integrity policies and controls as outlines in the State Street CIS standards and SOC 1 and SOC 2 criteria. Additionally, under the office of Administration & Business Operations, this role will support the day-to-day business operations activities aligned with the objectives and priorities of DataGX/SSGX and The Way Ahead. Responsibilities * As the DataGX representative for Risk Excellence Working Group: * Manage SOC 1, SOC 2, Internal and External audits and manage the relationship and submission of evidences and closure of all audit requirements on time by collaborating and coordinating with the function and control owners * Take ownership of open items on behalf of DataGX and follow through to resolution on all risk excellence items assigned to liaisons and DataGX business * Design and Implement new controls to meet State Street internal Security and Process Integrity requirements as outlines in the CIS standards, SOC 2 criteria, and Regulatory requirements; Keep a log of all DataGX controls and oversee the assurance events and audit requests * Coordinate process re-engineering and control design and implementation programs to meet internal and external audit and CIS requirements * Support periodic testing of controls, keep track of results and remediation plans * Keep and update DataGX controls definitions and Archer logs * Work with the Risk managers, function owners and the internal Audit teams to close all CAT, Discovery and Archer issues; Ensure timely closure and resolution of open items * Disseminate risk excellence materials, as required, and educate train all DataGX function owners and global teams. * Identify and implement tracking procedures for DataGX compliance of Risk and Information Security policies and procedures * Work collaboratively with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Information Security and Audit to proactively plan and manage oversight programs * Oversee NBPRA, GTRA, PIR, SLA reviews and renewal process and ensure legal compliance for all DataGX global functions * As the DataGX representative for Information Security Administration: * Attend recurring Risk and Compliance as well as Information Security Working group meetings * Support application owners in the completion and review of Information Security Risk Management Program (ISRMP) assessment process * Collaborate with DataGX ISA and GX/Corporate ISO to ensure that DataGX access and recertification policies and standards are met * Coordinate the resolution of problematic access, including segregation of duties violations * Act as backup for Information Security Officer or Sr. Information Security Officer (when required) * As the Project Coordinator for the DataGX Office of Administration & Business Operations: * Assist CAO/PMO office with tracking & reporting of business requirements * Create status reports and roadmap for Risk Excellence programs, audits remediation plan, control design and reengineering activities * Collecting materials for recurring management reports * Dissemination of information for broader DataGX consumption; * Collaborate / SharePoint Administration & Support Requirements * Bachelor's Degree, advance degree preferred (MBA or equivalent) * Ability to build strong relationships across team * Proven working knowledge and experience in project management * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Experience in Financial services or working in large corporate organization Key Attributes * Team player with professional and positive approach * Flexible and can adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements * Creative, innovative and able to think outside of the box * Strong attention to detail * Self-motivated & self-sufficient * Effective communicator at all levels of the organization State Street Global Advisors Boston MA
