The Communications Strategy Lead for Elavon will oversee and manage communication strategy for Elavon globally, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Head of Business Line Communications within the Public Affairs and Communications team. The person in this role would have two direct reports and would work closely with peers on the Business Line Communications team, especially the Communications Strategy Lead for Payments Services.
The individual in this role would be the go-to communication leader for the Elavon CEO and the Elavon Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in North America and Europe. The Communication Lead for Elavon will set the direction for all communications in support of Elavon, and is responsible for the deliverables and results of those communications.

Imagine progressive ways to tell the Elavon story to multiple internal and external audiences.
Provide counsel and guidance on all communications opportunities to the Elavon CEO and senior leadership team globally.
Collaborate with colleagues on Business Line Communications team, as well as partners within Elavon (Elavon marketing, and HR, for example).
Provide leadership and strategic direction on all internal and external communications for Elavon, globally.
Manage the internal communications team in close coordination with the external communications team to ensure consistency of message.
Collaborate across Corporate Communications and Strategy and Corporate Affairs to ensure consistency of message and no redundancy of efforts.
Develops communications plans, identifies success metrics / KPIs, and ensures quarterly reporting of results.
Remains current with industry news, topics and trends.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Ten or more years of experience in communications activities
Two or more years of management experience
Proven communication management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong research, analysis, and interviewing skills
Well-developed organizational and project management skills
Ability to negotiate and influence internal and external parties
15 years in communication and/or public relations, with experience in financial services, payments or fintech preferred
