The Church Communication Department is seeking a paid intern to work during the 2024 Summer (July - August).
Qualifications:
The intern should demonstrate outstanding skills in writing, creativity, research, problem solving, interpersonal communication, and detailed event planning. They will also be expected to assist department leaders and help with office tasks, logistics, correspondence, research, reception duties, etc. They will be expected to act and dress professionally. They will be expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines, work in harmony with other people, take direction on each assignment, and give full attention to detail. Independence in working, tact, and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy and protocol are also expected. Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.

Responsibilities:
Assist in implementation of special projects and key events.
Support preparation of briefing materials.
Conduct and analyze research on key topics in support of leader materials and briefings.
Monitor public conversations by collecting existing data about Church and related communications initiatives.
Edit and review copy and content as needed.
Provide event and meeting support.
