See Yourself as a Communications Intern

Support the Corporate Communications team in planning, developing and implementing activities and initiatives that contribute to the company's communications and citizenship efforts. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of corporate communications including corporate citizenship, community and employee engagement, and social media.

See the Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration of our philanthropic programs, including tracking donations, organizing events, and managing volunteer activities through Radian's Workplace Giving Platform

  • Assist with the preparation of internal and external communications, including articles for our intranet, @radian, social media graphics, and other materials as needed to foster a culture of giving back to communities

  • Analyze data and metrics related to Workplace Giving Platform, providing insight and recommendations for continuous improvement in employee participation and impact.

  • Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Radian Connected in their efforts to encourage employees to connect and promote volunteer activities.

  • Collaborate on cross-functional teams to align communications with the company's values and goals, ensuring a cohesive approach to corporate social responsibility initiatives.

  • Support the Corporate Communications team in drafting internal stories, social media graphics, and other material as needed. Develop internal communications to showcase our Corporate Citizenship Program, encouraging employee participation in volunteering and donations, fostering a culture giving back.

Education and Credentials

Required: HS Diploma/GED

Preferred:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline

  • Currently enrolled in a College/University program upcoming senior, or graduate student.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and teams.

  • A creative and proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.

  • A positive and flexible attitude, with the willingness to learn and grow.

Program Requirements

Interns will be required to participate in specific workshops and events in addition to their intern duties assigned by their people leader. This includes a NEW, 2-day in-person event at the Wayne, PA office, at the end of July.
