BlueVine is looking for a Communications Designer to help tell the world about BlueVine in a creative and engaging way! You'll join a dynamic group of marketers, designers, writers to help bring BlueVine's story to life via visually engaging and creative marketing materials.

In this role, you will help design materials for our revenue team, everything from direct mail letters to customer lifecycle emails to conference brochures to Facebook ads. You will work with revenue team members to craft the strategic vision then apply your artistic vision to bring the project's visuals to life.

We're looking for a Designer who is an expert at their craft, is strategic and thoughtful about the need at hand, has a strong point of view but is also a good collaborator and communicator, and wants to help build a growing company.

We want you to bring your full creativity, insight, and design recommendations to this role and bring your own ideas on how to move marketing design forward within BlueVine.

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital and print media, ideally with email and direct mail channels.


  • Work closely with individual members of the revenue team, including product marketing, performance marketing, business development to develop a strategy for and concepts for a project's design, then be able to create and fully execute the marketing assets, including delivering print-ready files or coded emails

  • Marketing assets will include direct mail creatives, outbound and lifecycle customer emails, conference brochures, online banner ads, and web design

  • Work with members of the product design team to develop a consistent brand experience across all BlueVine assets while continually pushing creative standards forward

  • Help to design a consistent visual language for BlueVine's marketing assets

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide deliverables under tight deadlines


  • At least 3 years of design experience in both the digital and print media

  • Ability to work independently but with a collaborative mindset to achieve best solutions

  • Creative, strategic and thoughtful thinker

  • Strong attention to detail

  • In love with typography

  • Good organizational skills and understanding of technologies and techniques to improve workflow efficiencies

  • Experience creating illustrations, iconography, and visual designs and experience with grids, balance, and whitespace

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for emails is highly preferred

  • Experience designing marketing emails is highly preferred

  • BA in fine art design, marketing or related discipline

  • Extensive experience with Sketch and Adobe Creative suite

  • Nice to have: Experience with animations
