What We Want
The Graduate and Professional School is looking for a Communications Coordinator who will assist the Communications and Marketing Director in producing informational and promotional materials to support the Graduate and Professional School. The Communications Coordinator will support communications with graduate students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders, as well as help elevate and market the Texas A&M graduate education brand. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller, skilled in marketing and communications across various formats and platforms.
What You Need to Know
Compensation: $52,000 - $55,000; commensurate to selected hires qualifications.

Other Factors: This position may require work outside of standard business hours including nights and/or weekends.
Essential Duties/Tasks
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of communications and/or marketing experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent written communication and design skills with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Knowledge of graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. or an equivalent design environment).
Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn Digital Asset Management system theory, administration, and maintenance.
Familiarity with and/or willingness to learn CMS and CRM services and applications.
Comfort with social media and ability to maintain an engaging social media presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education.
Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing.
Three years of professional experience in a combination of written communications, multimedia/graphics design, digital marketing, website content production, general web development/administration, customer relationship management.
Proven experience working within a brand environment while displaying creativity in written and visual communication.
Has an understanding of branding and the workings within a brand.
Knowledge of photo editing theory; software, hardware, and practical knowledge.
Knowledge of video editing theory; software, hardware and practical knowledge.
Knowledge of spreadsheet,and database software.
