MyoKardia is searching for a creative, resourceful and collaborative team member in the new role of Communications Coordinator. In this role, you will report to the head of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations and join a growing department supporting a wide range of activities intended to enhance and promote the organization's vision, progress and reputation with internal and external stakeholders. Your your ability to work as part of team and across functional areas to implement successful corporate communications and investor relations initiatives, and you commitment to MyoKardia's mission and values, will be critical to your success in this role.
Maintain comprehensive calendar of upcoming investor, medical conference, advocacy and anticipated news announcements
Track external disclosures and serve as a resource for fielding inquiries
Coordinate on scheduling of investor one-on-one meetings with new and existing investors and research analysts
Oversee production of communications documents and briefing information for investor events
Maintain IR database documenting investor interactions
Track analyst coverage and monitor for modelling updates
Assist in optimizing internal communications platforms (intranet) for all employees
Maintain a library of current collateral and archive of past disclosures
Help cultivate and grow the brand and voice for MyoKardia; implement engagement campaigns and partner with Core Values, Recognition and Community teams to promote employee activities and ensure awareness of programs
Help in the development of editorial calendars for social media and intranet postings
Conduct benchmarking research; monitor for relevant industry news and trends
Education and/or Experience:
Must have BA/BS or equivalent.
2+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, investor relations, marketing or project management.
Experience in the life sciences field and an understanding of SEC and FDA regulations impacting communications practices a plus.
Demonstrated willingness to learn new things and thrive in a collaborative environment
Exceptional oral and written communications and presentation skills (strong skills in PowerPoint)
A high level of energy, a strong work ethic, resourcefulness and flexibility
Excellent research abilities, outstanding attention to detail, efficient time management know-how
Willingness and ability to maintain and foster relationships across functional groups
Appetite for understanding and tracking complex scientific and analytical data
