As a Communications & Engagement Coordinator, you'll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Build out communications content in EmailOpen software and work with stakeholders to create and validate recipient lists. Strong aptitude with MS Excel is preferred.

  • Help develop creative and engaging content including, but not limited to, companywide communications, internal blog posts, team member recognition spotlights, employee internal social posts for ElaraCare app, intranet content, and more.

  • Draft internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and updates, to ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organization.

  • Assist with managing corporate communications master calendar.

  • Create and host digital forums using Microsoft Teams (e.g., live events, town halls, and meetings).

  • Coordinate scheduling of digital forums and ensure team members are able to join successfully.

  • Assist Communications Director with Meltwater media intelligence for external communications - track and monitor media insights, providing valuable data to inform communication strategies and enhance brand perception.

  • Manage events for leadership development and HR, from initial planning to execution, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of engaging experiences for participants.

  • Other duties as assigned to support the changing needs of the business.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related filed.

  • 1+ year of experience in communications, marketing or related field

  • Proficiency in using communications tools and platforms, including MS Office Suite

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a proactive and flexible approach to problem solving.

  • Knowledge of e-mail campaign software and media analysis tools, such as Constant Contact, E-mailOpen and Meltwater is preferred.

  • Knowledge of existing and upcoming communications technologies is preferred.

You will report to the Director of Communication.
