Communications Analyst

CTS is looking for a fully cleared Communications Analyst that will Support the Senior Communications SME. Manages fact finding, analysis, and development of hypothesis/conclusions, production of final reports, and delivery of presentations.

Applies expert knowledge of practice, consulting groups and matrixes, organization operations, and business objectives. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data in one or more specialties. Develops or participates in development of assignment methodology.

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives and develops or modifies processes using innovative technologies to solve complex problems for computers systems and business and electronic interfaces. Develops and applies advanced engineering and design methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and resolve complex and advanced system requirements, hardware/software interfaces, and applications and solutions.

Location: Washington Metropolitan Area

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified candidates must have a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seven (7) years of experience in communications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Serve as a subject matter expert and technical advisor for products and services of interest to the client, including recommending the latest vendor technologies that can be incorporated into future designs and advising on industry trends and emerging technologies. Assess the client's business, programmatic, and technical needs and provide recommendations and courses of actions. Demonstrate knowledge of technical Cloud architectures, including playing a vital role in the design, procurement, and development of Cloud solutions for enterprise environments. This position may require travel to Fort Meade, MD. Basic Qualifications: * 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Lync or Skype for Business * 1+ years of experience with DoD UC, including UC constructs, Softswitch backbone, and SBCs * 1+ years of experience with DoD policies * 1+ years of experience with DoD infrastructure * 1+ years of experience with Cloud migration, moving from an on-premises location to the Cloud, including Exchange to Office 365 or Google * Secret clearance required * BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience with IP networking, routing, and switching * Experience with Cisco CallManager * Experience with Active Directory * Experience with Identity Federation, SAML, and single sign on * Experience with Cloud service models, including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS * Experience with Cloud deployment models, including private, public, hybrid, and community Cloud * Experience with FedRAMP and DoD impact levels * Experience with Cybersecurity, including infrastructure security, such as IDS, IPS, and firewalls * Knowledge of Cloud computing design, including one or more of the following Cloud collaboration technologies: Office 365, Google G-Suite, Amazon Chime, or IBM Cloud Connections preferred * BS degree in CS, EE, or Computer Engineering One or more of the following certifications industry: MCSA Office 365, MCSA Cloud Platform, MCSA Server 2016, CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Security, or CCNA Service Provider Certification preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
