The CR department is comprised of Global Government Relations, Global Philanthropy, Office of Nonprofit Engagement, Sustainable Finance, and the JPMorgan Chase Institute.

JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Responsibility Communications team is seeking a Specialist in Washington, DC, to support the Head of Corporate Responsibility Communications and Civic Engagement and their teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include: assisting with strategic and day-to-day internal and external communications and engagements, project management, content creation, measurement and tracking; and administrative activities to support the work of the teams.

Job Description:

This position provides communications and administrative support for CR activities across lines of business and around the globe. Duties include assisting with preparing presentations, managing long and short term communications calendars, content creation, tracking project deliverables, maintaining databases and spreadsheets to measure impact; and supporting event preparation. Administrative duties include managing purchasing orders and invoices, travel, budgets and scheduling.

The successful candidate will possess attention to detail, high energy and flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment. Duties require confidentiality, initiative, sound decision-making, independent judgment and the ability to escalate serious or unique problems to higher levels. Prior communications experience is a plus.

Communications Responsibilities

  • Manage and distribute communications calendars supporting CR efforts across lines of business and around the globe.

  • Support the Communications and Public Affairs regional teams in travel, setting events, tracking engagements, budgets and expenses.

  • Oversee measurement and tracking of short-term and year-round communication and campaign efforts.

  • Draft communications content including for social media, stakeholder and employee outreach and earned media.

  • Develop recurring reports and presentations that showcase communications and campaign results and are presented to senior executives.

  • Maintain databases and spreadsheets for tracking communication campaigns, employee engagement, areas of interest and project deliverables.

  • Manage purchase orders and invoices and work with external vendors.

  • Organize meeting materials and communications follow-ups

  • Tech-savvy, including web maintenance/design, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.

Minimum 3 years' experience providing communications support in the private, nonprofit or public sectors. Proven PC skills, highly proficient in web and database management and all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and flexible. Ability to work independent and with minimal supervision, share information, and support colleagues. Solid organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

The consultant will be responsible for evaluating existing training program and developing education strategies for large-scale organizational change and developing communications products such as fact sheets, talking points, blogs, etc. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs to support of a large transformational program.<br />  <br /> Project Background<br /> The Strategic Communications Consultant role will be part of a larger program implementation support services contract in support of an enterprise-wide transformation of VA’s health care delivery system called VHA Community Care. The program will provide Veteran patients with greater access to care through an integrated network of VA health care facilities and community providers in a manner that is easy to understand, simple to administer, and meets the needs of Veterans, community providers, and VA employees. The VHA Community Care Program Implementation Support contract will adapt commercial best practices and principles from payers and providers to help modernize VA’s clinical and business processes and capabilities to successfully transform VA community care and improve the Veteran, community provider and VA employee experience. The successful candidate is independent, has a high attention to detail, creative, strong written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, communications software, and preferably but not required, e-Learning authoring software (Articulate 360).
