AECOM is seeking a talented and experienced Communication Specialist to join our team in New York, NY. This position will support our Construction Management division and all of their exciting construction projects!
This resourceful, collaborative member of the team must have excellent overall writing, research and communications skills. Must have a good eye for detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under deadlines.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develops and implements internal and external communications that include: internet/intranet content, press releases, award submissions, email messaging, and AECOM initiatives.
Provides communication consultation to internal/external departments.
Must have a combination of writing, organizational/management and people skills.
Work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple assignments; interact effectively with employees at all levels
Exercises sound judgment when communicating with internal and/or external clients or customers.
Latitude of creativity is required to produce effective and successful communication materials.
BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Previous AEC industry experience
Strong writing, editing, proofreading and an ability to present concepts verbally
Experience leading social media branding and campaigns
Service- and client-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadlines
Must be able to provide writing samples
