TITLE: Communication Specialist, Loan Servicing

POSITION SUMMARY: The Communications Specialist will be responsible for the external customer communications needed for the entire Loan Servicing team. Collaboration with the Loan Servicing staff is essential for success in this role. Content is primarily written to convey required message while staying compliance with various federal and state regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, write, edit, and finalize text and email communications needed for external customer communication between collector and customer

  • Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state regulations

  • Define and optimize communication and record management system ensuring ease of access and date integrity

  • Manage communication timelines and deliverables while determining the best way to apply consistent themes to messaging

  • Collaborate closely with team and department leaders to stay current on division priorities and developments

  • Provide regular training to users of the knowledge base and gather feedback on a regular basis from collection team and management

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in English, Technical Writing, or related preferred but not required

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in subprime auto finance a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Time management and ability to prioritize projects

  • Must be a team player and collaborator

  • Strong attention to detail

This position is crucial and is responsible for developing and delivering Collection training both for new and existing employees. Working collaboratively with other members of the Collections and leadership teams, our Trainer will develop scripts for our Collections and Customer Service teams, identify opportunities for improvement, develop training manuals, and assist with ad hoc training on the Collections floor when issues arise. This is a great opportunity to build a training program from the ground up. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Deliver and facilitate new hire training for Loan Servicing Representatives * Enhanced education for existing team members * Develop scripts, training manuals, and training classes that are consistent with Arivo's values and brand * Deliver training as needed individually and team-wide * Constantly communicate with management about training progress, issues, growth opportunities, and training agendas * Manage curriculum updates and strategy - improve programs by obtaining feedback from participants and management * Support Collections Team Leads and Department Manager as needed * Monitor the quality and quantity of training offered * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
