Experience: Licensed Speech-languge pathologist in the Sate of Utah, Current Certificate of Clinical Competence with ASHA
Preferred Clinical Focus: Experience with the assessment and treatment of adult and child speech and language disorders.
Duties/Expectations: Job responsibilities include supervising graduate student clinicians in the BYU Speech and Language Clinic, providing verbal and written feedback to students regarding their clinical performance. The SLP would also be involved in the assessment and treatment planning of each case, teaching the student clinicians through student consultations and therapy demonstrations how to implement current evidence-based therapy techniques.
Responsibilities also include grading lesson plans /SOAP notes, treatment plans and diagnostic reports. Other responsibilities may include limited amounts of research collaboration, some classroom teaching and attending clinical faculty meetings.
