Communications Center Representative

At National Spine & Pain Centers (NSPC), our mission is to relieve pain and improve quality of life through personalized, accessible care. We are currently looking for a Communications Center Representative to support our Pikesville, MD team in their customer service functions.

The schedule is Monday through Friday
8:00 am-4:30 pm or 8:30 am -5:00 pm

Working under the guidance of the Communications Center Manager, you will:

  • Schedules, reschedules, and cancels every patient appointment properly and according to established NSPC guidelines.

  • Obtains and records patient demographics, insurance information, and all other pertinent details accurately in new and current patient charts to guarantee proper medical care and accurate claim payments.

  • Forwards all prescription requests, including those received through the patient portal, in a timely manner to the responsible provider.

We require the following:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of cell center experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to use PC based office productivity tools (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel) as necessary; general computer skills necessary to work effectively in an office environment.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the phone skills required to triage incoming calls and the ability to take clear, concise, and accurate information.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

  • Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.

The role of Closing Team Leader can provide you with: * Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture across the store * Experience supporting daily/weekly stores' workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals * Experience leading closing routines while partnering with area and store leaders on procedure, process and team member concerns * Skills in workload efficiency across the store As a Closing Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: * Understand your role in sales growth and how each area contributes to and impacts total store profitability * Execute store strategies to deliver business results and store sales goals while prioritizing the guest experience * Be a partner to the store leadership team through communication and collaboration to influence current sales performance and workload deliverables, leverage daily check-in and check-outs and leadership meetings as connection points * Establish consistent routines and lead the team to ensure departments are zoned, in-stock, signed and labeled appropriately, including sales plans set timely and promotional signing set accurately * Use the business planning tools to share priorities and business updates with store leadership * Take action to achieve performance goals * Expect and enable team members to stay up-to-date on relevant trends and products * Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team * Close knowledge and skill gaps through training and experiences * Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectations; partner with leaders as needed to share performance feedback * Oversee total store operations * As a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes * Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.) * Provide service and a shopping experience that meets the needs of the guest * Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead and hold the team accountable to work in the same way * All other duties based on business needs WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We might be a great match if: * Working in a fun and energetic environment makes you excited….
