Communication and Marketing Associate II - 2341092
The Marketing Associate II facilitates andcoordinates basic to complex departmental marketing initiatives to further themarketing objectives for a specific department.
Coordinates marketing activities and publicrelations for assigned department, or program within a department
Serves as liaison between Corporate Marketing andthe department to ensure compliance and adherence to style guides
Prepares departmental marketing materialincluding newsletters, brochures, web content, press releases, etc. and may beresponsible for proofreading/editing content
Maintains and updates web content as appropriate
Coordinates with vendors and the department forvarious marketing initiatives
May work with leadership to identify newsopportunities to increases the visibility of the department or program withinthe department
Coordinates specific marketing projects andspecial events for the department and represents the institution at events ifapplicable
Works with management and program staff toidentify news opportunities to increase the visibility of thedepartment/institution
May make suggestions for effective strategies tosupport business objectives
Performs other duties as required
Education:Bachelor's degree, in marketingor related field preferred
Experience:2 years marketing or relatedexperience
