Communication And Logistics Team Lead

Position Summary:

The Event Medicine Communication/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective communication and logistical operations of medical services at events.

This role involves coordinating with medical teams, event organizers, and emergency services to ensure preparedness and responsiveness to any medical needs that arise during events.

The coordinator will manage communication systems, logistics planning, and support the overall execution of medical services. They will work with the Manager of Event Medicine to oversee medical services at public gatherings, ensuring the health and safety of attendees.

Will assist in the development of the Event Medicine communications and logistics that aligns with and supports UTMC strategic goals and initiatives. Demonstrates clinical knowledge, capable leadership, and a strong history of collaboratively with medical staff, nursing and EMS services to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality and cost-effective care across the program. Responsible for successfully developing and deploying programs/initiatives that promote the health and safety of their staff and event attendees, validate staff competency, and adhere to established legal/regulatory requirements.

Position Qualification:

Registered Nurse Licensure in Tennessee

BLS/ACLS/PALS certification

Desirable: EMT-P, CEN, TNCC

Management Experience (Strongly Preferred)

Ability to collect and analyze data, draw solid conclusions, and establish action plans.

Demonstrates stellar communication, including verbal and written skills.
