Commodity Risk Specialist

AGRILAND FS is looking for a well-organized and detailed individual to execute customer contract processes and daily positions to assure the financial performance and uniformity consistent with the policies and practices of AGRILAND FS.

Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing risk management process and procedure for all products

• Fields calls from Sales Managers and Sales Specialists regarding risk management

• Receives contract information from Sales Managers and Sales Specialists

• Enters and tracks all contract information in Agvance

• Organizes and communicates timely contract and variance information to Procurement Manager Energy and Risk, and Director of Procurement

• Records all data pertaining to risk management transactions

• Maintains all risk management and contract records

• Oversees the internal marketing and implementation of risk management programs to ensure company goals and policies are accomplished

• Assists in commodity hedging

What we need from you:

• Requires a bachelors degree, preferably in Business,or Economics, or 3 or more years of relevant experience

• Strong leadership, organizational and record keeping skills

• Demonstrated essential abilities including: business knowledge, collaboration, communication, decision making and skill development.

• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

• Ability to learn and operate business software

• Ability to manage projects and deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Good math skills

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
