Salary Range $69,897.01 - $87,371.26
This is an exempt (salaried) position. Pay rates are based on education, skill, experience level and internal equity. Internal equity considerations include an assessment of the applicant's salary history and qualifications in comparison to the market rate and requirements for the job.

Position Summary:
The Community/Neighborhood Library Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a branch including supervising, training, scheduling staff, providing information and services, and modeling customer service.
Essential Functions:
Serve as a liaison between the library and their branch community by reaching out to area organizations, providing outreach services, and promoting the library and its services
Ensure the branch follows library vision, mission, and strategies
Ensure the branch is an essential component of the community
Resolve escalated customer issues
Responsible for ensuring issues with facilities, technology, and security are reported timely and appropriately
Work collaboratively with peer library managers
Train library staff in library methods and procedures
Maintain a variety of library records and statistics
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of five years of varied and increasing library and leadership experience.
Education: Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
Licenses and Certifications:
NC Public Library certification required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire

Excellent command of various computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite
