The Commissions Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated accounting professional seeking a fast paced, dynamic and high energy work environment. This high visibility role will offer qualified individuals the unique opportunity to launch their careers at a company with tremendous potential for continued growth. The individual that fills this role will be reporting directly to the Revenue Controller, and will have exposure to upper management including the executive management team. This individual will have a primary focus on management and ownership of the monthly commissions process, but will also be expected to work effectively with team members within the finance group and across departments to effect changes and complete special projects required as part of company-wide goals and objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Establish and maintain ownership of the Commissions process, including ownership of the Xactly Incent system.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly sales commission accrual and payment files

  • Communicate payment information to sales reps timely and accurately and provides support for any inquiries

  • Take point on periodic cash and expense forecasting procedures relating to commissions

  • Own the monthly reconciliation of multiple accounts on the general ledger related to commissions

  • Investigate and correct any inconsistencies with reports, journal entries, or payments

  • Assist with external auditor requests

  • Ensure all deadlines are met

  • Other ad-hoc accounting duties

What you'll bring:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in accounting

  • 1-2 years of accounting or finance related experience, CPA is a plus but not required

  • Must have excellent Excel skills, with an understanding of advanced formulas

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience with one or more of the followings systems is a plus: NetSuite, Salesforce.com, Xactly Incent

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to work independently and be a team player

  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines in a fast-paced environment
