The Work You'll Do:
Sales is the lifeblood of our organization. Without strong sales people, we'd be nowhere. Thankfully, we have a fabulous sales organization and a big part of how we do that is by compensating them appropriately and competitively. That's where you come in! We are looking to add someone to our team who ensures that our awesome sales teams continue to be paid commissions in ways that they deserve and that keep them motived. Officially, you will provide support for the process of recording and reporting bookings as well as calculating, reporting on and analyzing sales commissions. But more than that you'll partner with Executive leaders throughout the company to keep our commissions programs running in a way that nobody else at Sovos can!
More specifically you will:
Be responsible for monthly recording and reporting of bookings including review of Salesforce.com opportunity data and order forms to prepare bookings report
Update, maintain and utilize Xactly Incent (sales compensation software) to process Sales performance
Reconcile large complex data flow between multi-database systems
Create/maintain sales performance reporting/tracking
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis relating to various sale compensation programs (scenario and variance analysis)
Partner with Executive leaders to research, resolve and document the business cases for compensation-related issues, changes or exceptions
Improve and refine (change leader) processes to provide more accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency
What We Need From You
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, or related field
2-4 years of work experience in a financial analysis role; experience with sales compensation/commission required
Basic computer software knowledge; strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on listening and documenting client needs
Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to both technical and non-technical audiences
Detail oriented and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
What We Need From You:
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting
Minimum 2 years of progressive professional experience with technical accounting, research and reporting - public accounting and/or software Industry experience preferred
Experience with foreign currency and consolidations
Knowledge of ERP systems
Strong Excel skills
