Carbonite is seeking a Commission Analyst to join a growing team who will support compensation and commission planning, analysis and implementation. In this role, you will assist in implementing and maintaining compensation plans, commission payouts and commission cost forecasting across multiple sales organizations.
The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills, an analytical background and immaculate attention to detail. You'll need the ability to quickly establish rapport with various internal teams such as Finance, Sales, Sales Operations and more. Specific Objectives & Responsibilities
Understand and execute calculations on all compensation plans, ensuring payments are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policy and practice.
Manage and maintain data participant information including territory assignments, quotas, crediting, and commission validation.
Accurately record monthly General Ledger entries and reconcile variable compensation accounts in a timely fashion.
Provide input and recommendations for streamlining processes and making process improvements.
Work with Accounting and Payroll teams to communicate and process monthly commission payments accurately and on time.
Interface with Sales Management, Sales Operations and Finance to review and analyze data to ensure employees are accurately credited for their sales transactions.
Verify data accuracy and maintain records or files in accordance with standard procedures and methods.
Provide high quality timely communication to the field and sales management, meeting their informational and reporting needs; communicating complex logic and analysis that is easily understandable to the team.
Investigate issue escalations and provide response to sales teams on inquiries as requested, ensuring issue and error resolution.
Contribute to the development or improvement of systems and processes to effectively track or capture data.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and HR to review sales compensation plans and analyze commission compensation for opportunities to align selling behavior with desired results.

Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
1-2 years' proven accounting and/or commission experience preferred.
Strong analytical aptitude and systems expertise, including Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Xactly.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential ability to interact cross-functionally with other departments is crucial.
