KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Commissioning Specialist to support the multi-year Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year. The power plant's location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans.

Aligning with KBR's commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

The Commissioning Specialist (LNG-LTS) will assist in day-to-day operations, which includes all PC&CSO activities. This role will work in conjunction with the CSO Operations Shift Supervisors and report to the CSO Day Superintendent.

This position may start in Houston, TX but will be expected to be onsite in Louisiana for the duration of project

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the CSO Shift Superintendents and Supervisors for continuity of work between shifts

• Coordinate required work with the Maintenance / I&E CSO Superintendents and the respective disciplines

• Assist CSO Day Superintendent

• Stand in for the CSO Day Superintendent as required particularly during their leave cycle

• Liaise with Commissioning Representative as required

• Ensure the complex is commissioned, operated, and maintained in accordance with the policies, procedures, and standards

Experience & Skills:

• Commissioning and startup of LTS in LNG unit experience

• Must have proven ability and understand with cooldown procedure and operation of MR compressor

Qualifications:

• In lieu of formal education 18 + years of experience on commissioning and startup of LTS in LNG unit

• Or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field & 10 + years of experience on commissioning and startup of LTS in LNG unit with average experience of 15+ years
