As the Commissioning Manager at ACCIONA, you will play a critical role in ensuring that construction projects are fully functional, operational, and compliant with design specifications and client requirements before final handover. You will lead the commissioning process, manage commissioning teams, and collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver projects of the highest quality.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Lead the commissioning process from pre-construction through post-construction phases, including design reviews, equipment testing, and system integration.

  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities and resolution of issues or deficiencies.

  • Conduct site inspections and functional performance tests to verify that building systems and components meet design specifications and performance criteria.

  • Document commissioning activities, test results, and system deficiencies, and prepare comprehensive commissioning reports for client review and approval.

  • Collaborate with design engineers, architects, and contractors to address commissioning-related issues and optimize system performance.

  • Provide training and support to facility operators and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth transition and operation of commissioned systems.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, codes, and standards applicable to commissioning activities, including safety and environmental regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and regulatory agencies, to provide project updates and address concerns.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in commissioning management, preferably in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, institutional, or industrial projects.

  • Strong technical knowledge on the Railways Industry with experience on rail systems management and rail interfaces coordination

  • Experience developing and implementing commissioning plans, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.

  • Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification is desirable.
