H2O Innovation is currently seeking a Commissioning Coordinator to join our team. This position offers a permanent & full-time position at our Champlin,MN plant. Our next team member will be accountable for ensuring all aspects of the H2O Innovation commissioning process are effectively coordinated, documented, and executed to meet Project requirements and client expectations. This role will involve close collaboration with various stake holders including Commissioning Technicians, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Automation Specialists, Client Engineers and General Contractors to ensure successful project completion and handoff to the Project Owner, supporting various field projects and collaborating with the engineering team to craft detailed plans.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Support project execution teams on installation and commissioning matters, ensuring seamless project delivery, startup and turnover;

  • Supervise, schedule and manage the H2O Commissioning Technician team;

  • Collaborate with vendors to source and ensure timely delivery to site of materials, consumables, tools, equipment needed to compliment onsite commissioning activities (ie cartridges, calibration solution or membrane repair kit);

  • Collaborate with engineering groups to develop and implement detailed commissioning procedures, commissioning plans and schedules in coordination with project requirements , optimizing project efficiency and effectiveness;

  • Ensure on-time completion of installation and commissioning activities, maintaining project timelines and milestones;

  • Ensure on-time delivery of documentation, procedures and reports;

  • Ensure execution of commissioning activities, including function testing, performance verification, and system optimization;

  • Keep good records of site activity, work performed, issues faced and how they were delt with (non-conformance), to provide feed back to business unit and supply with historic information to be used if there are owner warranty claims;

  • Review as-installed designs and the commissioning activities and create a lessons learned feedback to H2OI Project team to mitigate installation challenges, enhance safety and quality, and reduce time and cost, contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture within the organization;

  • Participate in technical training sessions for site teams and operators, sharing expertise and ensuring consistent skill development and provide mentoring on best practices;

  • Ensure all LOTO and safety precautions are taken according to H2O Innovation standards;

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout commissioning process.

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 8-10 years of relevant hands on experience with commissioning water treatment facilities;

  • Strong understanding of commissioning principles, processes, and best practices;

  • Experience and knowledge of a variety off UF, RO, MBR technologies, chemical dosing kits, pumps, compressors, blowers, instrumentation, valves, screening systems, cartridge filters, etc;

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, process, schematics and manufacturing literature;

  • A Bachelor or Associate Degree in Science/Engineering or a Technical Certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or Programming and/or Water Treatment Operations; Certified Commissioning Professional;

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (MSExcel, MSWord, PowerPoint, MS Office Project, MSOutlook);

  • Knowledge in various PLC programming software;

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills;

  • Ability to meet all customer site access requirements and maintains a high degree of behavioral safety in all aspects of work;

  • Valid driver's license;

  • Must be available to travel unrestricted in both USA and Canada, 50% of the work requires traveling;

  • Be autonomous, resourceful and meticulous; manage multiple priorities simultaneously;

  • Provide excellent customer service.
