Sous Chef at ESR Commissary Kitchen
At ESR we produce all of our pastas, pastries, pizza dough and other delicious food at our commissary kitchen. The restaurants receive a delivery of these fresh goodies every day before service. We are currently hiring a Sous Chef to help oversee the daily production. This person will be involved in the production of fresh pasta, tasty desserts and a number of other food items. The ideal candidate will have strong kitchen skills, attention to detail, experience in a commercial food production kitchen, and most importantly a great attitude! The Commissary Sous Chef will lead daily production and work with a diverse team to produce some of the best food in Seattle.

Qualifications
Thorough understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, procedures.
Emphasis on accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills and adaptability in the moment.
Ability to learn the POS and other necessary computer functions.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry best practices.
Current Food Handler Card.
Culinary degree strongly preferred.
