Commercialization Lead, End-to-End Engineering

Responsible for: End-to-end "right first time" technical development, execution, and integration of all new or changed products and technologies, ensuring robust / validated process capability, optimized cost performance, and delivery of quality expectations
Lead R&D, GBSC, QA, GSR, SC, and other E2EE pillar teams to develop and execute robust Technical Readiness master plans for all new product and technology initiatives. This will include robust capability and transformation understanding of component sourcing, equipment, compounding, filling, packaging and cleaning/change overs.
Lead suppliers, plants and QA, in root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues related to new product / technology originating at any point in the E2E network
Lead validation of component supply, equipment, manufacturing and filling processes ensuring FDA compliance of regulated drug products
Lead new product / technology commercialization projects (new or changed) to reduced total delivered costs and complexity in partnership with commercialization stakeholders. Provide technical support to the plants for operational improvements in process reliability, method installation and validation, and quality trouble shooting for new initiatives and existing product lines
Build capability in the areas of compounding and filling transformation definition, process modeling and scale up as a key enabler of greater productivity and speed to market. In conjunction with commercialization stakeholders, develop complexity management strategy and operating model to enable RFT new product / technology capabilities ensuring robust, repeatable, and validated processes
Develop, deploy, and maintain a Technical Readiness work process that compliments the stage gate initiative process led by GBSC. Collaborate with business units to develop the financial aspects of business plans / ROI calculations related to R&D, Packaging, Corporate Innovation projects
Oversee all aspects of Commercialization, spanning across cross-functional teams in formulation, packaging, manufacturing, sourcing and distribution
Provide hands-on leadership to the commercialization team and mentor, motivate, and lead teams to support a vibrant, innovative and productive engineering culture
Ensure effective collaboration and alignment with R&D (formulation development) to drive effective transfer of innovation into commercialization
Ensure consistent processes and KPIs in order to effectively manage the commercialization process together with commercialization stakeholders
Review commercialization performance together with commercialization stakeholders, and identify optimization potential on a continuous basis (incl. structural adjustments, if required)
Act as key interface to leadership functions within E2E Engineering in order to align key priorities, process flows and interdependencies
Work together with executive stakeholders across key functions (e.g. brands, categories, planning, GBSC) to ensure that commercialization process can effectively deliver business strategy & priorities
Work with the engineering center to drive talent / capability development for the pillar to ensure consistency/continued excellence (e.g. training, talent retention)
Drive pillar performance versus agreed pillar KPIs; manage team performance and measure team's
