The Commercial Warehouse Manager for Phoenixville, AZ is responsible for the management, continuous improvement, and quality compliance of the Jonestown, PA distribution center. This individual will ensure the achievement of expected service level, by properly managing stock and distribution costs. They will be instrumental in the development and implementation of strategies and process changes to improve supply chain efficiency and control costs while ensuring the optimization of the logistics network. This position will be based in Phoenixville, AZ, and reports to Commercial Logistics Director, USA in Parsippany, NJ.
Manage all aspects of the relationship of 3PL partners to deliver Ferrero quality, safety, service and cost goals
Proactively manage the 3PL KPIs against industry benchmarks and actively drive logistics performance towards best-in-class levels
Continually evaluate Ferrero 3PL partners against company standards
Work as the point of contact between Ferrero Customer Service and Ferrero DCs to help ensure best in class operations
Manager RFP process for the selection of new 3PL partners
Prepare warehouse budgets
Proactively forecast and manage warehouse capacity constraints in peak season and work with Supply Chain teams to avoid disruptions in the Ferrero supply chain
Ensure 3PLs are always on target for out-bound expectations
Inventory control, including daily reconciliation and cycle count activities
Manage material master data requirements between Ferrero and DCs
Supply Chain Support:
Actively manage any optimization projects, including IT improvements
Support Customer Service, Sales & Planning to meet urgent delivery requests from customers and monitor expectations
Work closely with Customer Service and Planning teams to provide transportation and warehousing solutions to improve our service to our customers while effectively managing costs
Support all month end activities to ensure Ferrero supply chain is delivering targeted results
Point of contact for recall procedures
Who we are looking for:
Thorough understanding of warehousing and distribution operations, budgeting and management
At least 10 years of Supply Chain work experience, with at least 5 of those with a focus on Warehouse Management
Understanding of development of appropriate KPIs
Skilled in relationship management with vendors to drive continuous improvement mindset across the supply chain
Ability to support day to day operations while completing key projects and analysis
Strong knowledge of advanced analysis techniques such as Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, Macros)
Bachelor's Degree in logistics or business
Proficiency with SAP computer systems
