Commercial Warehouse Manager

We are currently working with a Moving and Relocation company based near Sterling, VA who are seeking an experienced candidate to take on the role of a Commercial Warehouse Manager. This position is focused on managing and monitoring the company’s assets and the warehouse inventory, serving as the primary point of contact for the suppliers, shippers and customers.

Responsibilities for the Commercial Warehouse Manager role include, but are not limited to: Keep track of client and business equipment inventories. Being in charge of the inventory's reception, processing, storage, and distribution.

Handle the warehouse strategically while adhering to the policies and procedures of the organization. Communicate with customers, vendors, and shipping firms. Create a facility and rack arrangement that maximizes flow.

Verify that the facilities and equipment are in proper operating order. Uphold the warehouse's security, safety, and health regulations. Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience Required: At least three years of experience managing a warehouse. Valid forklift licensing and experience.
