SUMMARY
Provide service and maintenance to customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base in the above focus areas. 2. Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings. 3. Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative service, maintenance, inspections, and site surveys, as needed, or requested by customers

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluating existing plumbing systems to identify problems that may lead to future issues
Installing new plumbing systems and repairing or replacing existing ones
Diagnosing plumbing problems such as leaks, clogs, and corrosion, and then repairing them accordingly
Installing and repairing new plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs
Maintaining and repairing water heaters, boilers, dishwashers, icemakers, and other appliances that use water
Performing electrical work such as installing light switches or thermostats when working with plumbing systems that involve plumbing and electrical components
Installing, repairing, and replacing pipes, valves, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures
Troubleshooting problems with sewer systems and drain lines by locating the source of the problem and developing solutions to resolve the issue
Repairing leaks in water supply lines, gas lines, sewers, or other types of pipes that carry liquid or gas
Knowledge of plumbing codes
Ability to read and interpret plumbing diagrams and blueprints
Communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail
Able to accurately quote and estimate time and material for jobs
Carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems at commercial and industrial sites
Perform installation of plumbing systems at commercial and industrial sites
Inspect previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and industrial sites
Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
Answer calls for plumbing issues from general contractors
Manage a work log
Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage). This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 pounds.
