Liberty Moving and Storage is a family owned and operated relocation company that has experienced continual growth since our founding in 1939. We are the largest agent for United Van Lines in the tristate area. Our standards are high, which makes us one of the largest and highest recommended companies in the business.

Our growing business is in need of a COMMERCIAL SALES MANAGER to drive and increase our commercial clientele base exponentially in our LONG ISLAND & NYC territories (all 5 boroughs).

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads.

The Sales Manager will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.

Responsibilities

Build a sales team of 2-3 reps. Develop, Manage and motivate

Train, Motivate &Develop Commercial Sales Representatives in all aspects of moving business.

Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospective leads with primary focus on building client relationships while improving current clientele base.

Collaborate with management team to improve marketing materials and website.

Expand company's marketing presence in Long Island & New York City (5-boroughs).

Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and potential clients.

Focus on industry trends to identify potential opportunities for exponential growth.

Schedule appointments through cold calling and networking prospects weekly.

Communicate weekly with Executive management about existing accounts and potential growth.

Communicate monthly with Executive management about customer-client storage cycle billing.

Quoting prices, recording work orders, and coordinating deliveries or projects.

Set and Track S.M.A.R.T. goals that target and align with company objectives.

Identify KPI's to improve Sales Representative's close ratio, sales revenue, and GPM.

Generate 'KPM Sales Reports' each week to review and submit to Executive management.

Skills and Requirements:

2 to 10 years of experience developing and managing a sales team

3 to 6 years experience outside sales experience

Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients/customers in the NY metro area.

Must be willing and able to work out of our Commack, New York office.

Strong computer skills and understanding of CRM software.

Self-motivated and comfortable working with autonomy.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
