We currently have an exciting opportunity in the Northeast region for self-directed and results-oriented sales leaders. This position has responsibility for driving HVAC sales and margins through our distributors and direct sales offices.
Job responsibilities will include:
Establish action plans and sales targets for each territory and reviewing progress with local sales management on a regular basis
Define and collaboratively execute strategies to promote and grow the commercial HVAC sales to our sales channel partners and direct sales offices.
Partner with sales channel to identify and sell sizeable light commercial and applied sales opportunities
Identify and visit key customers and determining our strategy to obtain their business. This would consist of consulting engineers, building owners and developers who are purchasing and specifying large commercial projects.
Identify key upcoming jobs to ensure that we have a sound sales strategy to win prior to bid.
Regularly visit selling companies and establish regularly scheduled calls with sales force and factory staff to provide visibility to upcoming jobs
Provide regular updates to Carrier's senior management on performance of assigned territories , sales channels and initiatives.
Collaborate across Carrier functions and business divisions in all territories to identify replacement opportunities and upcoming projects with existing customers.
Work with marketing to identify Carrier product strengths vs competition and implement plans and communication to capitalize.
Develop and assure ongoing effective performance of the sales channel regarding sales leadership, sales professionals, inside sales support, sales tools, etc.
Aggressively manage performance of direct sales offices
Assure active and viable succession planning for key sales leadership.
Establish an ongoing and integrated set of metrics to proactively and retrospectively measure the success of the enterprise in successfully growing sales volume and margin for Carrier commercial HVAC and the sales channel.
Engage independent sales channel principals in regularly planned assessments of the enterprise regarding performance, productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. Assure sales channel is meeting its obligations and responsibilities as outlined by the commercial charter. Prepare a contingency plan in each geographic region in the event sales channel performance is not satisfactory.
Execute and implement our branded programs, product introductions and ongoing product related issues.
Generate positive enthusiasm and excitement in the marketplace for the Carrier commercial HVAC portfolio. Actively engage in industry associations and activities to promote the Carrier commercial brand and portfolio.
