Position Specific Description
Come join our Sales team! We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative who has a passion for making a difference in the Retail Energy market. The ideal candidate will be expected to sell electricity to a variety of customers through assigned 3rd party channels for most deregulated markets. Minimal travel may be required. The position will be based in Houston, Texas and reports to the Director of Sales. As we continue to grow, we need high caliber, experienced individuals, with a winning attitude.
Candidates with inside broker or channel sales experience highly preferred.
This job is responsible for increasing revenue by successfully handling commercial business to business (B2B) sales opportunities from Brokers/Channel Partners. Employees in this role respond to requests for pricing (RFPs) and negotiate margin, that meets the Broker/Channel Partner's customer's needs. This position retains existing customers through securing retention sales orders through the Broker/Channel Manager.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Analyzes deal specifics and determines best course of action (enter opportunity, refer deal or defer deal)
Negotiates price with Broker/Channel Partner and customer
Negotiates margin with Broker/Channel Partner and customer
Selects product and terms appropriate for the end customer
Facilitates won opportunities through the contracting and enrollment process timely and accurately
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
