Commercial & Repossession Agent

Glockner Finance is searching for a COLLECTIONS & REPOSESSION AGENT to join our team. Glockner Commercial Services assists our commercial community with heavy truck and trailer sales, commercial and personal insurance, commercial compliance as well as commercial financing. We currently serve the Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Indiana areas. This position is full-time Monday

• Friday 8:00am

• 5:00pm with benefits. Local travel is required with this position.

Job Duties:

• Monitor accounts and contact clients who are past due

• Maintain detailed records of contact with clients and/or references

• Collaborate with Loan Officers to negotiate payment arrangements

• Advise customers of the actions that will be taken if arrangements are not kept once approved

• Meet with clients in person when necessary

• Locate and repossess all collateral held on delinquent accounts

• Search publicly available databases to locate delinquent clients

• Assist Loan Officers in evaluating values on equipment

• Assign and monitor tracking devices

• Coordinate the sale of repossessed equipment

• Prepare spreadsheets and necessary documentation for collection meetings

• Gather insurance information from clients when necessary

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Have a strong ability to communicate effectively and calmly with clients

• Monitor accounts and contact customers who are past due

• Maintain detailed records of contact with customers and references

• Collaborate with in-house loan officers to negotiate payment arrangements

• Meet with clients in person when needed

• Locate and follow repossession laws on all collateral on accounts

• Be able to help assist in the evaluation of value on equipment

• Must be able to search publicly available databases to track delinquent accounts

• Prepare all documents/spreadsheets for collection meetings

• Work with legal department on repossessions when needed

• Process all necessary documentation required for repossession

• Must be able to navigate/use all basic computer software (ie Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Must be able to learn and work within company specific computer software

• CDL is preferred but is not necessary

• Collection experience preferred, but is not necessary
