The Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM) is responsible for originating commercial loans from recommended solution to execution of closing, and maintenance of business relationship. This individual should be a seasoned professional in CRE and C & I loan production, and have experience in identifying cross-sell opportunities complementary to business relationship for ancillary bank products.
Principal Accountabilities are as follows, but not limited to:
Interviewing loan applicants, collecting and analyzing financial and related data to determine the general creditworthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan request. May obtain information through direct inspection of the applicant's business and/or collateral, or other methods under approved guidelines.
Establishes and negotiates terms under which credit will be extended, including the costs, repayment method, schedule and collateral requirements.
Develops new business by contacting prospects and customers, or cross-selling bank to existing customers to expand on bank relationship.
Participates in community affairs to increase the bank's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.
