As a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager III, You will actively pursue lower middle market relationships specific to Real Estate for NBH Bank, and provide a full range banking services with an emphasis on loans, treasury management and deposit business products, with a goal of earning 100% of the client's relationship. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including developing and expanding business relationships by calling on potential and existing clients to offer business loan, deposit, and treasury services, identify Consumer, Mortgage and Premier/Private Banking opportunities for your Business Clients and the Business Client's Associates, and provide financial advice and counsel to business clients on credit structure with the help of your teammates. You will be able to provide initial credit analysis skills including review of the Client's financial statements, high-level credit worthiness of the opportunity and advising the Client on the current loan structure.

You will be expected to provide high-level guidance around treasury management products and be able to bring in Treasury Management partners for further counsel to the client. Guide the Client and internal partners in all aspects of the on-boarding process, from initial meetings to on-going account maintenance. Deliver a consistent and positive experience to all Clients with every interaction and monitor loan portfolio performance by maintaining contact with the borrowers and understanding to resolve problems.

Additionally, Specialty Relationship Manager III's, proactively cultivate client relationships, develop new prospects and referral sources to ensure maximum results consisting of acquiring, expanding, and retaining full banking relationships, with an enhanced focus on deposit, treasury and business lending growth, establish a referral network and build relationships within an established Centers of Influence (COI) network, and understand market industry research for market trends that impact client's business and spot opportunities to provide financial services. Relationship Manager IIIs are expected to build rapport with clients and fellow associates and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, maintain current knowledge and continuously be informed/updated about the Healthcare industry and how it currently, and will impact in the future, your Client's business.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administrations or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 5+ years of successful Commercial Real Estate

  • 7+ years of banking experience.

  • 7+ years successful business-to-business development experience.

  • Completion of bank training or formal credit training program.

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 10+ years of successful commercial or small business lending.
  • 10+ years of banking experience.

  • Strong credit background with ability to analyze financial statements, underwrite loans, and prepare loan presentations for approval by credit committees.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build peer and/or team cohesiveness.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to make sound and timely decisions, to consistently deliver on commitments and assume responsibility for results.

  • Strong client service skills with the ability to interact in a professional manner with both internal and external clients.

  • Carries oneself in a professional manner both inside and outside the bank, always representing the bank in a professional manner.

  • Proficient in MS office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
