We invite you to review our website to learn more about the experience offered at KMK.KMK Law is in search of a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Real Estate Group to provide full service transactional support to Commercial Real Estate attorneys.Job Responsibilities: Working with the attorneys, draft real estate transactional documents using established templates, including loan documents, purchase agreements, easements, deeds, and related documents. Prepare and manage transaction timelines and checklists and resolve open items with attorney direction.
Order and review title insurance commitments and coordinate with title company to finalize. Obtain and review property surveys, zoning letters, lien and litigation searches, and other public records as appropriate. Prepare and file entity formation documents, draft resolutions and organizational documents; order and review UCC documents.
Facilitate closings and assist in execution of documents; prepare escrow/recording instruction letters to title companies and prepare escrow agreements. Record real estate documents as appropriate, including e-recording. Prepare and distribute closing binders and manage post-closing matters.
Maintain specific client databases and templates according to attorney instructions. Other responsibilities as directed by the attorneys to facilitate commercial real estate transactions.Key Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail. Strong communication and writing skills. Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions.
Paralegal degree/certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
