Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant

This position is onsite and will be supporting Attorneys, performing conflict checks, file maintenance, and researching real estate/probate. What you’ll be doing (duties of this position): Perform conflict checks; open and maintain client files, case files, and organize documents. Prepare, edit, and proof memos, correspondence, and other similar reports (i.e. corporate mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, non-compete and confidentiality agreements, etc.) Review, revise, and draft real estate contracts, amendments, termination letters, leases, and real estate legal documents.

Enter billable time and edit time and pre-bills. Process expense reimbursements. Research and distribute real estate documents.

Communicate with clients, answer calls, prepare documents for shipment, and distribute mail. File pleadings and other filings in district/state/federal court, as needed. Schedule meetings, travel, and depositions.

Maintain calendars including court deadlines and appearances. What you’ll need to be considered (requirements): Commercial Real Estate and Litigation experience . 3-5 years of Legal Assistant experience. Strong probate and estate administration skills.
