ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Produce quotations and estimates for commercial projects and products that are submitted by our customers.
Assist with residential quoting on an as needed basis.
Develop an expertise with commercial door and millwork products.
Become the commercial resource for our office.
Establish and build a relationship with department associates, customer personnel, and general contractors.
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, etc.
Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
Estimate or quote prices, warranties, and delivery dates.
Work with commercial product vendors to expedite our quoting responses.
Assist with drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
Forward orders to customer service for processing
Train customers' employees in commercial product knowledge to assist them in selling the product.
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One to two years related experience with door and millwork products. Knowledge of commercial doors and/or commercial project processes is considered a plus.
Computer Skills
MS office, email and internet proficiency, general computer knowledge
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license required. Safe driver history/record required for insurance and liability reason.
